    AI Content Enrichment: Turning a Spreadsheet of Exhibitors Into Searchable Event Content

    You got the exhibitor list as a CSV. Names, booth numbers, maybe a one-liner. Here's how AI turns that into content attendees can actually search.

    Three months before the event, you get The Spreadsheet. Company name. Booth number. Maybe a one-line description like "solutions provider." Maybe not even that. This is what you have to turn into a searchable event experience. Good luck.

    Except now there's a shortcut. AI content enrichment takes that sparse data and expands it into full, searchable profiles — automatically.

    How enrichment works

    You upload the exhibitor list to your dashboard. For each entry, the AI looks up the company, identifies their products and services, and generates a multi-paragraph description that includes relevant keywords, product categories, and use cases. A company listed as "TechParts GmbH — booth C14" becomes "TechParts GmbH specialises in precision CNC-machined components for automotive and aerospace applications, including aluminium housings, titanium brackets, and custom fasteners."

    The exhibitor gets a notification to review and approve the enriched profile. Most approve with minor edits. Some are surprised by how accurate it is. A few correct details that the AI guessed wrong — which is exactly why the review step exists.

    Why this matters for search

    A sparse profile is a dead end for search. When someone types "aluminium housings for electric vehicles," a one-liner about "solutions" won't match. An enriched profile with specific materials, applications, and product names will match immediately.

    The difference in search performance is significant. In testing across several events, enriched profiles received 4-6x more search impressions than the originals. That's not because the AI is magical — it's because it wrote down what the exhibitor forgot to mention.

    The practical details

    Enrichment runs in batch, so you can process an entire exhibitor list in one go. The dashboard shows you which profiles have been enriched, which are pending review, and which were approved. For events with 200+ exhibitors, this saves the content team roughly 40 hours of work compared to writing descriptions manually.

    AI enrichment is available on Starter plans and above. Free plans include manual content management with templates to guide exhibitors through writing their own profiles.
